August Yorkshire Yarn Fest

It's that time again! It's virtual Yorkshire Yarn Fest! As usual, you can find me over at the Yorkshire Yarn Fest Instagram account (at 2:45 pm BST) chatting away about the update. Feel free to let me know if there's anything you'd like to see close up. There are so many amazing vendors taking part. Do join us there!
Wonderful Woolly Originals Creations
But before I share more about the update have a look at this!
Isn't it just beautiful! Sarah of Woolly Originals has made this lovely bag using 100% merino in the Red Sea and Cinnamon colourways. It's even more glorious "in person"! Have a look at the other three stunning bags!
New Colourways and Experiments
So, what will you see in the update? There's some lovely merino nylon high twist. And I seem to have gone through a range of summer to autumn colourways.
Meet (from left to right): Pink Palace, Golden Hour, Djemila and Sorbet.
I've also been experimenting with exciting colours and bases.
A Mohair Silk Substitute
And we have a delicious new base! Suri Silk Cloud is a lovely alternative to Mohair Silk and I can't wait to dye up some other colourways in it!
Philosophical Mini Sets?
You'll find some mini sets in tomorrow's update. the sets consist of 5 20g minis in either merino nylon or non superwash merino. I dyed them up with this idea that's been dancing around my head for a while now. Four out of the five minis are almost fade-like or a lot more cohesive and the fifth is a teeny little pop of something different. Something that stands out but fits in, in a way. Something that brings it's own little personality to the set.
